A Family Business built with Family Pride!
Family Pride Meats in Ipswich, SD
Our bison is butchered in our hometown family-owned butcher shop in Ipswich, South Dakota. The owner, Donnie is a second-generation butcher and has been working in the plant since he was 13 years old. He has over 42 years of experience! We are proud to say our family's third-generation is already involved. Our son Nik has been working in the plant since he was 16, with over 12 years of experience.

Not only do we have a combined 54 years of butchering experience; but when Grandpa Dominik stops in, we’ve got over 100 years of combined experience with butchering and processing Bison. Our knowledge and expertise aren’t limited to raising Bison or processing Bison...WE are the butcher, so we know how to finish the bison in the field and oversee every Bison butchered in our plant from Field to Finish. It's that simple!
