Burger Bowls (2 Ways)
Burger Bowl – Option 1
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. Ground Bison
- 2.5 tsp Seasoning Salt
- 1.5 tsp Ranch Powder Seasoning
- Sliced Mushrooms
- Sliced onion
- 4 tbsp butter
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Diced Chives
Instructions:
- Mix ground bison and seasonings.
- On a baking sheet form 4 meat bowls using a clean jar or can. Set aside.
- In a pan sauté mushrooms and onion with butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Divide into 4 equal portions.
- Fill meat bowls with about ¼ cup of cheese, mushrooms, onion, and top with ¼ cup cheese.
- Bake bowls at 350 degrees F covered loosely with foil and cook for 30 minutes. Before serving top with bacon pieces, ranch, and diced chives.
The best part of this recipe is you can customize it to your liking. Add green peppers, jalapeños, wrap it in bacon, fill it with mac and cheese. The possibilities are endless.
This recipe can also be cooked on a grill or smoker.
Burger Bowl – Option 2
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. Ground Bison
- 2.5 tsp Seasoning Salt
- 1.5 tsp Ranch Powder Seasoning
- Shredded Romaine
- Shredded Cheese
- Fresh Diced Tomatoes
- Chopped up pickles
- Chopped Onion
- Any other salad toppings of your choosing
Instructions:
- Mix ground bison and seasonings and form patties.
- Cook burgers on grill or in a pan on the stove.
- Chop up remaining ingredients and place in bowl.
- Add chopped up burger and any condiments you like on your burger. (Ketchup, mayo, mustard, ranch).
